Hush... relax... take some time out. Let your life be comforted by the rock-a-bye rhythms of the journey train.
There is nothing to fear... nothing to upset... nothing to disrupt... just... stay... behind the yellow line.

The Spaces We Inhabit
Part 1: Topographic Gradients
- Pericope 1 -
*LETTERBOX PREFERRED*
There is beauty
In the hidden gradients
Formed by the topography of life
Variations in the attitudes
Define the colours of each moment
And pixel by pixel
We scan the secret abstractions
And subtle shadings
Of the spaces we inhabit
The complete “Topographic Gradients” video work has been divided up into 7 separate pericopes and has a total running time of 7hours, 19minutes and 58seconds loop, with 29 iterations of the poem on which the video work is based.
The poem is published in the poetry collection, “The Spaces We Inhabit”, Colin Read / Reade Collins (both pseudonyms of rubytuesday) ©2020, ISBN 978-0-6450777-4-2.
It documents a full pixel by pixel scan cycle of the painting embedded in the work.
The full original was exported to video form from a processing language project (processing.org).

We are the ghosts of our history
A narrative we reconstruct
From fleeting glimpses
Of our remembered selves
Ephemeral, we believe ourselves
To have substance
As our atoms fade and fall away
Along all the future pathways
Of the spaces we inhabit
This is the video version of the poem, “Ghosts of Our History” by the artist. Published in the poetry collection, “The Spaces We Inhabit”, Colin Read / Reade Collins (both pseudonyms of RubyTuesday) ©2020.
The original vision was initially programmed in Processing language (http://processing.org) then exported and further developed in Vegas video editor.

Constructing and Deconstructing the
Meshina Veil
(Iteration 4)
We are currently in the final stages of development for The Meshina Veil, Iteration 4
These are the latest recordings from a test run of construction and deconstruction.
The Meshina Veil is an orphan technology - a phenomenon without a "raison d'être"... We can build it... We can "unbuild" it... But we have no purposeful or tangible use for it. It is believed by many, however, that it will one day prove to be the sole mechanism by which we are able to survive and endure.
